A self-paced course

Loving Well

An 8-week course in healthy love — with yourself, your friends and chosen family, and your partners.

Every kind of love counts

Any relationship

Single, dating, partnered, non-monogamous, long-distance, asexual or aromantic — this course fits your life.

Friendship counts

Friends and chosen family are a full form of love, not a warm-up for romance.

Every culture

Examples are written for people everywhere. Take what fits and leave the rest.

Safety and choice

Skip anything. Nothing is required, and support resources are always one tap away.

What you'll learn

  1. Week 1

    Foundations: What Is Love?

Love is a feeling, a choice and a set of skills. We all learned a version of love growing up — this week we look at that version and decide what to keep.

  2. Week 2

    Self-Love & Self-Worth

How we treat ourselves sets the template for the love we give and accept. Self-love is not self-obsession — it is the steady kindness that lets us love others without losing ourselves.

  3. Week 3

    Attachment Styles

Our earliest bonds shape how safe we feel getting close to people. These patterns show up in friendships and romance alike — and they can change.

  4. Week 4

    Platonic Love, Empathy & Connection

Friendship is love. The small, everyday ways we reach for each other — and respond — build trust in every kind of relationship.

  5. Week 5

    Conflict, Boundaries & Repair

Healthy relationships still have conflict. What matters is how we disagree, whether we protect each other's dignity, and whether we repair afterwards.

  6. Week 6

    Romance & Consideration

Romance is intentional attention and delight. Consideration is thinking about how the other person actually experiences your care. Both are skills, and both belong in friendships as well as intimate partnerships.

  7. Week 7

Red Flags, Unhealthy Patterns & Healthy Endings

Every relationship sits somewhere on a spectrum from healthy to unhealthy to abusive. Knowing the signs — in friendships and romance — protects us, and knowing how to end things well lets us leave with dignity.

  8. Week 8

Sustaining Love: My Loving Well Plan

Falling in love — or into friendship — is the easy part. Staying in love is a practice. Good relationships are among the strongest predictors of a healthy, happy life.
